Lundur is a sheep farm situated in the east coast of Iceland. The sheep are about 620, and we also have 19 horses. The farm is some 250 ha and consists mainly of wetlands and birch forrest. We also use the neighbouring farm Sauðhaga, as Lundur used to be a part of that farm.

In Lundur lives Jón G. Jónsson who takes the main care about the farm. Here also live Sigurhans Jónsson (Hansi) and Johanna Henriksson with our children Magnús and Satu.

We do not offer accommodation or services to tourists, but we are happy to answer any questions you might have about Iceland, sheep farming or the Icelandic horse, or if you just want to be in contact with the people of Lundur. We have sometimes taken on students during the lambing season.
